How to Add an Image or Video into my Header

Adding a Custom Image to the Header

Step 1: Click into the customized header area in the bottom right of any header on the page you want to customize.

Step 2: Click the Add Image button and select the file you want to use from your local computer.

Step 3: Choose whether or not to compress the image on upload. If you want to maintain the highest quality, choose not to compress it. However, this can increase the size of the file and may take longer to load. You can also add alternative text to the image to help visitors with accessibility needs understand what the image is about.

Step 4: Save your changes.

Adding a Custom Video to the Header

Step 1: Upload your video to Vimeo.

Step 2: Copy the URL of the video from Vimeo.

Step 3: Click into the customized header area in the bottom right of any header on the page you want to customize.

Step 4: Paste the URL of the video into the background video URL field.

Step 5: Save your changes.

Note: At the moment, only Vimeo supports background videos to be used for this purpose. YouTube and Facebook do not currently support background videos.
