Why are my Images and Logo Blurry or Sideways?

While creating your website, it can be really frustrating if you're running into blurry images, or your images are being uploaded sideways or upside down!

Here's some reason's why it might be happening:

  1. Low-Quality Images: One of the most common reasons for blurry images is using low-quality images that are too small or too compressed. When images are stretched or enlarged to fit into a larger space, their quality can become compromised, resulting in a blurry appearance.
  2. Incorrect Image Orientation: Sometimes images might appear sideways or upside down on your website due to incorrect image orientation. This often happens when the image is taken with a camera that was held in a different orientation than the device it is being viewed on.

Our Solution:

To avoid blurry or sideways images on your clinic website, make sure to use high-quality images that are properly optimized for web use. Ensure that the image orientation is correct and the aspect ratio is maintained.

When the data embedded in the photo tell the website that the side of the photo is 'up', it's a big problem! This is a weird quirk that happens sometimes when a photo is taken on a smart phone, or if an image from the web isn't properly embedded.

The only way to solve this problem is to open the photo on your computer and rotate 360 degrees (all the way around) so it is upright again, and then Save it. Now you can re-upload the photo, and it should be upright. Or if you open the image on your computer and find that it's showing sideways on your computer as well, rotate it until it is upright, and then re-upload it.
