Updating the Logo and Favicon

Updating Your Logo as a Jane User:

If you want to update your logo, and your site is integrated with Jane, simply log in to your Jane account and change your logo from there.

Important to note: If you change the Logo on your website it will automatically sync back to what is set in your Jane account. If you want to set a new logo for both you have to do it within your Jane account. Check out this walkthrough in the Jane Guide for updating your branding within Jane

Your Clinic Sites website will automatically update your Jane logo within 24 hours in our automatic sync, or you can manually sync by pressing the sync button in the top bar

What if you want a different Logo on your Clinic Sites website and in Jane?

Since the logo on your website is syncing automatically from your Jane account the only way to have a different logo is to turn off the sync in your Clinic Sites settings.

This can be done in Admin > Settings > Jane Integration.

From there, uncheck Synchronize Theme and don't forget to click Save Settings before leaving the page. Check out this help article for more help with Jane Integration Settings

Updating Your Logo as a Non-Jane User:

Follow these simple steps to upload your logo:

Step 1: Navigate to your design settings by clicking "Admin" in the top right corner and click "Design" in the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select "Logo" from the left-hand menu.

Step 3: From here you will be able to upload your logo

Step 4: If you have two different versions of your logo, we recommend uploading a full colour logo under "Logo", and an all white version of your logo under "Logo alternative."

Step 5: Don't forget to click "Save" at the bottom of the page. As soon as the updates are saved you will see the updated logo displayed on your website.

Helpful Tip: If finding a transparent PNG file isn't viable, then using a JPEG is also possible if there is no background applied to the menu area.

What is a Favicon?

A favicon is a page icon associated with your website, as seen in the Clinic Sites example below. These icons are displayed in the browser tab and serve as a visual representation of your brand. By using your logo or a distinctive symbol, it helps in reinforcing brand identity. This tiny image can contribute to creating a memorable and professional image for your website.

Your favicon does not sync from Jane so you must upload your own in the settings on your website. This can be done on the same page you add your logo.

Helpful tip: The ideal favicon dimensions should be 64px X 64px

Don't forget to click "Save" at the bottom of the page to lock in your changes.
