Editing your Header

Your Header is the first thing that people see on every page of your website, so it's really important. Your home page header is the most crucial of all your headers because it's the very first impression that everyone has of your website. It's important to note that there are two different ways to edit your headers - the first is within settings. This will edit all of your headers to the default settings that you select. The second way is to individually customize the headers on different pages to make them exactly how you want them. We will show you how to do both.

First we're going to show you how to edit your headers from settings:

Step 1: Navigate to your Design Settings.

Click on the 'Admin' button at the top right of your website, and select "Design" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select Header.

On the left hand menu, select header. This will bring up all of the different options that you have for customizing ALL of the headers on all the pages. You can change the individual headers one at a time later.

Step 3: Customize your Header Design.

From here, change how tall you want your headings to be, how you want your text to appear on the headers, and whether you want your brand colors overlaying over the header image. Then click save.

Now we're going to go over customizing only one header:

Step 4: Customize Header for only One Page.

Go to your home page, and in the bottom right of your header, select "Customize Header."

Step 5: Edit your Header.

Here you can edit each header individually. You can change the photo, add a video, add a button or two, and choose where all of the text should go.
