How to Add location to your Website

NOTE: If you are a Jane integrated clinic, your location and address will automatically be synced over when you first spin up your site. If it isn't working, contact our support team, or follow the steps below.

As a clinic owner, it's important to make it easy for your patients to find your location. One way to do this is by adding your address and a map to your website. In this article, we'll show you how to grab the map URL from Google Maps and add it to your Clinic Sites website.

Step 1: Go to your account settings.

While logged in, click the "Admin" button on the top right of your screen and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Select "Locations" from the left hand menu.

Step 3: Fill in your location.

Unless changed, this will show up on your footer so that your clients can find your clinic. To find the map URL follow these steps:

  1. Go to Google Maps
  2. Enter your clinic's address in the search bar
  3. Click on the "Share" button on the left-hand side of the screen
  4. Select the "Copy Link" option
  5. The map URL will now be copied to your clipboard
  6. Paste it into the map URL.

Note: There are two location forms if you have multiple offices. If you only have one, leave the second one blank.

Removing Your Location

Perhaps you are a mobile clinic, or offer virtual appointments and don't want your address to appear on your website. There are few areas you may need check to keep the location from showing.

Step 1: Turn off location in the footer

While logged in, click the "Admin" button on the top right of your screen and select "Design" from the dropdown menu. From the Site Design page click Footer.

Scroll down and make sure both Locations and Google Map Image are set to Off

Step 2: Remove Map block from Contact page

Go to your Contact page and edit any blocks that mention your location. If you are a Jane user, remove the Jane Location block. If you want to show a general location like the city you are in, but not your exact address you can use a Map block and add in any location you want.
